DDIMASThe Experience
DIMAS Foundation

Recognition is the beginning. Support is the work.

The DIMAS Foundation is the advocacy and support arm of The DIMAS Experience — standing with women whose stories rarely reach a stage.

What We Do

Seven areas. One commitment.

Domestic Violence Support

Awareness campaigns, safe pathways, counselling referrals and coordinated intervention with civil-society partners.

Women Incarcerated (Non-Violent)

Legal support and case review for women serving sentences for non-violent offences.

Rehabilitation

Counselling, mentorship and structured programmes during and after sentence.

Skills Acquisition

Practical, income-generating skills that make reintegration viable.

Reintegration

Housing, employment pathways and family reconnection support post-release.

Advocacy

Policy engagement on sentencing reform, survivor rights and women in custody.

Partnerships

Legal partners, counsellors, NGOs, faith-based organisations, correctional services and funders.

Why It Matters

Justice, dignity and a second chapter.

Too many women across Africa navigate violence at home and incarceration for offences that reflect poverty, coercion or circumstance — rather than criminal intent.

The DIMAS Foundation works with legal partners, counsellors, correctional services and civil-society networks to intervene early, defend fairly and rebuild fully.

Every woman deserves safety at home, fairness under the law, and a path back to a life of her own choosing.

Get Involved

Partner. Volunteer. Donate.

Three ways to move the work forward — every one of them matters.
